Neither player is all that exciting but I am in a big league (16 team ) with a deep bench (13 slots). I did a poor job of addressing both my SS & 3B slots.
Stats: Standard 5 hitting categories.
I did a lousy job of addressing my 3B:
3B: Cantu (starter), Sandoval (Backup)
SS I am ok:
SS: Hardy, no backup.
So should I keep McPherson hoping he will be picked up or take Ayabar off the FA wire because he has the startig gig.
Any thoughts???

Who knows when McPherson will get the job? Given the fact that Aybar has the gig, I'd take him. Also, I don't mind your 3B situation. I'm not a big Cantu fan, but you know what you're going to get with him and Sandoval looks pretty impressive right now.

McPherson is like a Russel Branyan clone; even if he lands somewhere I don't expect a whole lot. Go with Aybar.

Thanks for your help. I made the move and picked up Ayabar.
