Out of that group I would go with either Pettitem maholm, or maybe kawakimi,

Pettite will get you the wins, maholm will improv on ERA and whip.

Kawakami is very new to league and with experience. Maybe worth a gamble.

Those other pitchers im sure will be available later on if these dont work out..

Help me out with mine please

I'd take Pettite (wins), Maholm (ERA, hopefully whip), and Kawakami (upside actually). I also think all three will be the most reliable pitchers, which is what you need the most given your mix of uncertain performance and injury concerns. Kawakami is the intersting one, since he may experience a boost over the 1st couple months of the season from the once through the league effect. If he performs well, I'd look to trade him as you near the ASB, but even still a 1/2 year of solid production can really help you in an area of weakness. If you want a 4th pick out of the group, I'd go with Sean Marshall. He's got the most upside of the bunch and should be able to get a good deal of wins. He'd actually be at the top of my list had you a more reliable staff, but like all young pitchers, he cannot be considered a lock for any sort of performance.

I would take

Pettitte: Good team, solid stats, you can lock in 13-15 wins, ERA 4.00 and probably 145 Ks.

Galaragga: Great upside, pretty consistant last year.

After that it is......

Maholm Pit
Sonnantine TB

And than everybody else....

thanks guys...already picked pettite and kawakami

still debating over maholm, guthrie, lohse, wolf and sean marshall

my main need right now is ERA and WHIP...but cant trust those pirates and orioles and im concerned with the fact that both guthrie and maholm will face the opponents ace each time...but what if they are lonely aces like GREINKE

lohse and wolf are part of winning team with fairly decent WHIP and ERA

marshall is the intriguing one...wins and k with the possibilty of decent WHIP and ERA

what should i do?
