i would do this. while you're losing a good K pitcher in burnett, i really like josh johnson's potential this year. plus, you're getting sizemore... YES, do it.

help me out?? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=376452

Definitely do this deal. You are getting the best player in the deal plus a very underrated Josh Johnson. I like this a lot for you.

I don't really think much of Huff, I think he will be good for 20 not 30 HRs, but Sizemore should be similar to Hamilton except for 30 SB, no small feat, and Johnson has the potential to pitch as well as Burnett plus is in the weaker national league. I'd do the deal based on value and help to your team.

Well, I'm going to go against the grain here and say No.

Admittedly, I am a Hamilton homer and I just think with your lineup with Manny, ARod (once healthy), that is going to be very tough to beat along with Reyes, other key contributors ... Pena, Philips, etc. Sizemore will Def get you more steals, but you got Milledge on the bench, Philips will steal bases too. I think Hamilton will hit for higher avg, and slg, obp, ops.

Also, I dont know much about J. Johnson either.

I'd rather do Phillips and Pena for Gonzo and Roberts, as I see Pena in the category of one hit wonder (although his 08 was decent, not great)...but Gonz is an elite hitter. This easily increases your power and steals, and you don't have to give up any pitching.
