I get to choose between J.Fields, D.Freese or J.Schaffer.Who do you think has the best chance to make an impact in a deep mixed points league?

Always enjoy posting here and I WILL help if I can. Thanks, Eddie

In a points based league this year: Josh Fields. 25+ HR potential. I don't usually look at ST numbers as a gauge, but in this instance FIelds hit .440 in ST and he no longer has Crede to steal AB in Chi-A
In roto league and Keeper leagues: Schaffer

Thanks and may I imose on you again? The guy who wants me to pick between those players wants Melvin Mora.I think Mora who was decent last year will decline but would you trade him for Fields or Freese or Jordan Schaffer

Thanks again, Eddie

I think Fields will hit more HR, but he also strikes out a lot more than Mora and will hit for a lower avg. Its a tough one. Fields obviously has more upside and I agree with you that Mora is on the decline. Do you get penalized for K's? Fields is projected to strikeout 130+ times vs 70+ for Mora. Most points leagues subtract a point. That is a 60 point difference.

We do not take away for S.O but because you think it's a close call, I have hesitated.Would you think (it's obviously an educated guess) Jordan S or D. Freese would be worth trading for Mora? I feel I may be pushing this since I'm interested in a breakout guy.Although we agree he has seen his best days is it better to take the devil you know rather then the one you don't .

Thanks again Eddie

If you don't count SO's I would go Fields over Mora. That was my main knock on Fields b/c I play in a league that counts SO's.
I am not big on Freese. However, I like Schaffer's tools. Is your league a keeper league?

Hey you really know your stuff or are clairvoyant.I am sure you saw Schafer do his thing last night.I am going to go with Fields even though we are not a keeper league.

Great talking to you and if you need to run something by me please do.
