I traded Alexei Ramirez and Jered Weaver for Matt Kemp and John Lackey

I plan on picking up Mike Lowell or Kevin Kouzmanoff for 3B and move DeRosa to 2B, Thoughts?

I like that trade. I would much rather have Kemp over Ramirez. The only question mark is Lackey and that depends on how long he is hurt. But I think this is a fine trade.

Illegal offense, if you can find a 3b. (Lowell for now)
When the time comes, stash Smoltz and with this new free spot on your DL, rotate in 2SP each week if this is a weekly league, or daily spot-starting pitchers.

I like Kemp over Alexei Ramirez. The final word will have to wait until we see how long Lackey is out. However, even if he's out a bit longer than expected you didn't give up much in Jer. Weaver so it's worth the risk.

DeRosa needs to be a 2B or MI, his value takes a hit when put at 3B or CI for long periods of time.
