Contract Keeper Leage Team - Please comment

I'm in a 12 team, HTH pts, league with a $260 cap and 10 contract years allowed. The first four draft picks on each team were assigned 2 yr contract, so we all currently have 8 yrs of contracts allotted. You are also allowed up to four minor league slots which I have filled with $0 players.

I have played fantasy for many years, but never this type of league. I'd like some feed back on good and bad points of my team from those of you who have played in this type of league before.

To start the season I am $21 dollars under the cap. My roster is:

I don't have any kind of experience in this type of league either. Can you extend the 2 year contracts on Wright and Braun? What happens to the extra cash you didn't spend ($21)?

The team looks nice IMHO, though. You could use a real ace pitcher, but the staff isn't bad at all.

I can't extend them. I currently have two free yrs to give to another player or use to trade for another player under contract with another team. The $21 is mine to spend in trades or free agents. Right now it's basically a cushion to allow me the ability to maneuver in season.
