GRAB LAPORTA now????

I have pretty solid club, and I am thinking of jumping the gun to nail down LaPorta. I have done it the last few years with likes of Liriano, Longoria, and Howard a ways back.... Thoughts on this angle. Club is below. I like hanging on to Smoltz, but I am considering his exit or even Cahill, but #2 in rotation is a sign of confidence.

He's not on the level of a Longoria or Howard, but you could maybe do that if you don't have much confidence in Cahill being able to handle big league stuff (I have my doubts, moreso than Porcello/Anderson).
