should i give up phillips/pena for gonzo/roberts?



numberswise(projections) i would be givng up 18 homers and 40 rbis but gaining 23 runs and 14 sbs with a higher BA

Fairly close trade. Looks like one I'd be more apt to make in a Roto league where those 20 points of BA so valuable. In a H2H league, you're just not gaining enough to offset the loss in the two categories I value most.

I think it is a trade I would make. You have enough power to offset the loss, and I think value wise the guys you are getting would be higher to use in future trade negotiations, as I think Gonzo is going to have a breakout season.

I'd do the deal because you get more SBs without much of a drop in power.

I'd do this in a heartbeat if it is a roto league. Probably would pull the trigger in HtoH too. Pena is BY FAR the worst player in the deal.
