On my bench, I have: Blalock, Ryan Church, Mark Teahen, and Jose Guillen. Obviously, I have lots of outfielders. I have a feeling Church will be really good this year, but I don't know. I really want to get Schafer, b/c I'm a Braves fan, and I think he'll be solid.
Other starters: C: Iannetta 1B: Morneau 2B: Kinsler 3B: Chris Davis SS: Drew OF: Braun, Chris Young, Nady, Daniel Murphy UTIL: Francouer SP: Haren, Harden, Verlander RP: Broxton, Wilson, Corpas P: Jurrjens, Slowey Bench: Cueto
Who should I drop to get Schafer? Or should I not drop anyone? I'm not big on Teahen or Blalock really, but I thought I'd need to keep back-up infielders on bench in case my starters get injured. (Jed Lowrie is on the wire too.) So, do I need another OF or a back-up IF? What do you think?

I'd either drop Guillen or Church. I wouldn't drop Teahen though. If he gets 2B eligibility, he will be a decently valuable commodity. I'd probably drop Church though. Mets gonna add Sheff which will only hurt the Met's OF value, minus Beltran.
what if i did this: offered up jose guillen plus teahen for mike gonzalez. or guillen plus blalock. i could use another closer. the other guy has lots of bench pitchers, several relievers, but no bench hitters at all. would this be fair? then, i would have an empty spot to get schafer, assuming no one else grabs him first.

I like gonzo, so if the guy bites, go for the first trade. Even the second. Also, if you want to get Scherzer, I'd say drop Guillen. He's so streaky, that he's not worth a bench spot. Chances are, when you need him, he'll be cold. Believe it or not, I like Teahan. I bet he'll be very solid, and a backup you'd be happy to have.
