How valuable is Weiters??

I picked him up accidentally in the draft... noticed afterward that he had been sent down. (The draft was a few weeks ago). But everyone has been talking so highly of him, that I have held onto him even though he is a waste of a roster space for now. Now I look on waivers, and I see that someone had dropped Posada. Last I heard he was doing pretty good. So I guess I should also ask if there is something going on with Posada that I don't know about.

I can't be carrying 3 catchers, so would you suggest dropping either of my catchers to try and get Posada... Is Weiters worth more than Posada, as Yahoo seems to have him ranked?

If you think I should drop Weiters (or Pierzynski), do you think I should use my #3 waiver priority to try and get him? Thanks!

I would keep him but if you really don't want him taking up a roster spot shop him around and see what offers you get. Sandoval and quality starter would be good or an upgrade over Matsui.

BTW I like Posada over AJ

My only worry is that Posada might not be playing full time if his injury wasn't fully healed. So, if I were to drop AJ for Posada, would you use the #3 priority. He becomes available in the league tomorrow morning. Should I wait to see if he is available?

Also, the guy who suggested I hold onto Weiters during the draft has Sandoval. I was thinking of offering up Weiter, Hairston, and Matsui for Sandoval, Ethier, and E. Burriss. Does this seem like a fair offer?
