so with rios i can expect .280+ avg, 15-25 hr, 15-30sb, 85-100r and 75-90rbi. plus vernon wells is back which i think helps. the last 2 years he also flirted with 200 hits, 191 in 2007 and 185 in 2008. pence is def solid but he is a def notch below those numbers and that notch makes him a tier 3 player to rios' upper tier 2 player i think.

I think Pence and Rios are kinda close in terms of value, but I'd give Rios a slight edge overall.
But even though Felix's inconsistency and occasional control problems can be frustrating, he's due to have a break-out year soon and the pairing of him with Pence is better than that of Rios/Kuroda.

i agree that i overpaid a little bit for rios here, no question. but rios has grady sizemore potential no? he is just as due to break out as f-her is i think. no?
