I'd probably take that chance. You've got enough solid SP to tide you over while you wait for Price to get the call to the show.

I would but It really depends on your pitching, can you afford to wait it out for price, what are the chances you can run with Cueto for a few weeks and pick up Price later?

Yeah if you feel confident in waiting it out you may want to see how Cueto does in his first 2-3 starts before pulling the trigger. Otherwise I'd say drop C-Carp.

I drop Cueto before i would drop Carpenter. Carp has looked too sharp this spring.

And if you try to wait, Price will be gone next week. No doubt. If you want him, you have to get him now.

Having the #9 spot makes it an easier decision, IMO. You're near the bottom anyhow. At worst, you get him and lose one spot on the list. Go for it.

I guess it really depends on when he is brought up. If he's not brought up till after the all-star break I'm not so sure it's worth it to have him sit your bench for over half the season. If it's a keeper league, it's definitely worth it. I don't doubt Price's talent, but I'm concerned he's not brought up until later. However, if you plan to use more relief pitchers and Cueto sits the bench most of the time, then go for.
