Justin Morneau, who is dealing with back tightness, is uncertain if he will play in Saturday's exhibition season finale against the Pirates, according to the Star Tribune.

Our View:His back feels a little better today, and he hopes it is not a problem for the season opener Monday. Stay tuned for further updates.

haha first Mauer, now Morneau, is it somethin in that Minny water?? maybe some meds can get swapped to help him out too... i wouldn't read too to much into this as players 'tighten up' all the time, if it lingers then yes i would put more emphasis on it...

He has hit a lot of balls really hard which makes not worry much at all. He start having them drop and all will be good. Hopefully it starts happening soon since I really need some points from him in my h2h points league.
