Just watching tonight online and listening to the announcers, they keep commenting how just big and spacous of a ball park this is..They said it's definately a pitchers park and compared it to Petco and the Giants ballpark (418 to center)..They said it's definately a doubles, triples ballpark for hitters. By the way it's FREE watching the Sox/Mets game tonight on MLB.COM

That should work sweet in my league that uses doubles and triples as stats. Have both Reyes and Wright!

Game doesn't work for me. It just sits there trying to connect.

I'm leaving for the sox/mets game at citifield this afternoon in just a few minutes. I'll report back here after the game and let you know how the stadium plays out.

I was at the game last night.
The yard didn't seem that big but I was surprised at a few balls hit into left that I thought were going to make the Apple show itself, but then died and turned into either double or long outs.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

Watching Citifield game #2 right now on MLB.com. The outfield grass looks ridiculously slow.
Pedroia hit a smoker down the left field line and it just hung up.. Murphy grabbed it and threw a rocket to 2nd base and had Pedroia beat by almost 10 feet. Any other park that ball would of beaten Murphy to the corner and Pedroia would of been in at second base standing up.
I think a guy like Mike Pelfrey really goes up in value here.
I don't see the park affecting David Wright's doubles with his gap power, but I think he'll be very hard pressed to hit more than 30 home runs with the length and wall heights.
