Why does no1 take this team seriously?

i drafted this team with my friends, 10 team league and they arent concerned about my team winning at all...they say my team is just "not bad". i think i have strongest team in the league and they jus dont know what they are talking about (considering jeter and renteria went in the 1st round). can you guys confirm i have a solid lineup and whether i should look to change anything?

"solid lineup"? any team with an OF of Pujols, Beltran and Huff is a lot better than solid!

Very nice, hitting is excellent, even for a 10 team league.

Pitchings pretty nice too, closers are very strong.

I'd stay with harden over perez

Your team is solid. You got good hitters(Pujols Beltran Huff Tex) and good pitchers(Wood Oswalt Wagner). You have a well rounded team.

Kendall give you nothing but average, In a 10 team league Reyes and Berroa are a very young infield combo. It would be good for you to have a more established middle infield, but with the rest of your offense particularly your OF you are going to be fine.

yeah i guess u can see where my later picks were but no1 touched brain giles until like th 13th round so i grabbed him for my util role!! i am thinking of trying to trade giles for a better 2B or SS, and move sweeney into the Util spot.....would u even bother doing that or just leave it? i dont wanna make trades jus cuz i can...

If Giles fell to the 13th round you probably aren't going to get much for him until the season starts.

Nice team, I like the Reyes/Berroa combo in the Middle IF. Your Offense and RP are very strong and Deep.

I would say your weakness is SP, I would try and trade for a Solid Starter using either Giles, Crawford or Sweeney and a closer.

i have offered a guy a trade - my rich harden for his wade miller....i know i will do better but i think he MAY bite. would u warrant the addition of miller enough to round off that staff?

I think your team will certainly be a threat to anyone who wants to win the League.

My only concerns are that some of these players don't have a long track record. Don't get me wrong, by last years standings they are solid. But how good is Texeira? I would like him on my team but we just don't know how good thsi guy is yet. I think teh same goes for Reyes. They could both be superstars, or they could decline. Bit that's your choice to make...

I am not sold on Beltran either. The standard talk at the moment is that he should be in a top draft pick, but I am just not sure about that. I will probably find out how wrong I was this season.

All this aside, I certainly think your team is a contender.
