Dice-K for Crawford...WHIR 100%

Postby Hit Factory » Fri Apr 03, 2009 4:45 pm

Hey there, I am in a 12 team 5x5 roto league. I need some more steals (and a decent batting average wouldn't hurt either.) I know this is a reach, but do you guys think my Dice-K for his Crawford would work (was also thinking Dice-K for Rios)? If you have any other trade ideas please let me know, WHIR 100%!

Here is my team:
Posada
Dunn
Kelly Johnson
Youkilis
Khalil Greene
CI: Mike Jacobs (I would love to get rid of him since I already have Dunn's low avg)
MI: Alexi Casilla
Sizemore
Carlos Lee
B.J. Upton
Dye
Util: Kendry Morales
BN: Cust
BN: Pierre (stole 40 bases in limited duty last year, if he gets traded value skyrockets)
BN: Dioner Navarro

Hamels
Billingsley
K-Rod
Kerry Wood
Dice-K
Cain
Slowey
Randy Johnson
BN: Pelfrey
BN: Arredondo

Why do you want more SB guys? Looks like you're doing pretty good in speed as it is.

There is no way a manager would trade Crawford or Rios for Dice-K.

If you offered Hamels for Rios you might get the other manager to think about it.

I don't think you should keep two catchers on your squad. Maybe you can try packaging Posada and Dice-K for Crawford and someone.

Dunn, Jacobs, Cust, and Greene will probably kill your AVG. You might want to punt AVG. altogther.

Yeah I agree. Maybe you can package Posada and DK for Crawford and another decent starter. But if you cant do that I would go through with it.
