never played auction league but I would move V. Mart ASAP you don't need him for that's for sure. Utley is awesome but the jury is still out on his injury. I would hold on to C. Davis he can rake for real

Not commenting on your league setup, but just the players involved...I think Utley will take a small step back this year. That's a big operation that he went through and it may be mid-season before he is 100%. With that said, I do feel you need to upgrade at 2B. Any chance of getting a lesser 2B, like a Cano or Roberts?

Chris Davis...IMO...will lead the AL in homers this year. I know that's a bold prediction, but this guy is loaded with potential and power...and has a lineup to back him up. With Kinlser and Hammy in that lineup, I think Davis is just going to get better and better this year and next. 40 homers this year!!! LaRoche is a second half player...look at his track record. I like Davis more than Utley (end of season numbers) this year and Johnson and LaRoche are similar guys at different positions.

Just curious how did C.Lee go for $42? When Pujols went for $44?

Utley is the best player. But he has only 1 year, and a big price $42. I wouldn't want to trade 2 years of Davis at $5 for him. And KJ at $1 is nice. I would pass. But i could see the Utley side as well.

I'd do the deal. I love Davis' upside but Utley is a great player.

The way I see it, you are getting 1 great player for 2 good players. LaRoche is a non factor in this deal.

Thanks for the help in my thread :)

I'll echo this sentiment! Thanks with mine

i know nothing abt the salary caps leagues so i cant really comment.

chris davis may be hype, but i think he'll be a solid player. if u look at his minor stats, i just dunno how he suddenly sucks like this. its just a weird funk i think. utley will be a yr older, he's gotta slow down some time
