Ankiel or Spilbourghs? (are they close?)

NOTE: other options: Snider, Isiakawa

5X5 one year roto league

FINAL THOUGHT: Which 3 would you keep?

I like Ankiel, and think he has even more potential this year as the lineup around hiim develops into a stronger supporting cast. Also, hitting in front of Pujols is a big plus in my book. Snider has more career upside, and if youre talking keeper league, I would keep him over all the others. The other two are a tossup, neither really stands out long term in my opinion.

Ankiel, for the first half anyways. I would keep a sharp eye on Snider though, he could bring some big numbers as the season progresses. It also depends on if youre going H2H or Roto. H2H you can take a few bad weeks from a player, as long as you're beating your opponent. In Roto, the numbers over the year matter a good deal more, meaning Ankiel all the way IMO. If H2H though, just give Ankiel a try for a little while and keep Sniders numbers in your head.

so based on this info: keep Snider & Ankiel - okay.
now . . . should I keep Spilbourghs or Isiakawa for this year only in roto format?

Its a tossup really, but in Roto I would go with Ishikawa, mainly because hes at the same stage, both young and starting for the first time, hitting for mild power and avg., but with the added bonus of SB potential. Plus, OF is such a loaded position that I am thinking there are better bets out there than an unproven rookie. 1B is loaded with power, but not much in the SB dept.

Thank you Trippy for your feedback ;-D but I'm still unclear as to who you think is better. I know it's close . . . who would you keep?
