Replacement Third Baseman???

Postby yankeephoenix911 » Fri Apr 03, 2009 10:30 am

I have ARod and am looking for a short term replacement for him. the names i am primarily considering are Ty Wiggington, Andy LaRoache, and Brandon Inge. any opinions on those or any other names that I could potentially pick up in the FA pool that will be able to deliver a solid April offensively???

I guess I would take Wiggy from that list. Who else is on the WW?

I'd go with Wiggington.

You didnt give us the size of the league ect.
Which would help a person guess who could be left on the WW..

I will give you a few though...in this order

1. Encarcion - 4 cat producer Under-rated. 84r/30hr/85rbi/.275avg
2. M.Mora - good 2nd half -83r/23hr/81rbi/.273avg
3. Blalock - lesser form of the first two
4.Guillen - BA is intact - 84r/16hr/73rbi/8sb/.297
5. Lowell - Nicest guy on the planet - 74r/22hr/90rbi/.283

Wigg? - dont like him in Balt. . 54r/18hr/57rbi/.275avg

Inge? BA will hurt you .. <.250 and surprised he is available.. he is catcher eligible in most leagues.

Encarcion has the most upside imho.
