Im trying to find out what is with this guy? According to Yahoo he will make his first start on April 10th...which is fine with me. Has anyone heard anything else?
Also...this is a 5 player KEEPER league and he was not kept...so we start drafting in the 6th rd and I have the 6th pick. I know 3 managers ahead of me arent going to take him...so I have a good chance of getting him. He could be a steal.

You take him. He'll be fine, IMO.

Yes, you definitely take Hamels. The owner that had may not have been able to keep Hamels given the rest of his roster. The earliest Ive seen him go is late 3rd round and the latest Ive seen him go is the pick1 of the 5th rounds...definitely a steal. Good luck.

Considering he is worth a early 5th round selection, IMO, getting him in the 6th is very good value.
