I have read all the posts on the Daniel Murphy bandwagon and I am ready to jump on, but in order to do so I would need to drop a guy like Delmon Young or Adam Jones? Would it be worth it if I had to ditch one of these guys, I am leaning towards Young since he will take at least a day off a weak with that 5OF mess they have going on in MIN. Thanks

You have no reason to drop Adam Jones, he could break-out something fierce. Delmon Young depends on your projections for both players. Personally, I see Young as having more of a ceiling this year, though the OF mess is just that, a mess.

i dropped chase headley for him, i think that's the level of player you need to think of. delmon and jones are much more likely to have good years.

I have not had either player you are considering dropping but I had both Young and Jones rated higher than Murphy. I would probably not do it.

In a non-keeper I would drop Delmon for him

Delmon and Murphy are close, but Young has the higher upside so I would keep him and definitely Jones as well.

drop delmon. Murphy is batting second in the middle reyes and Wright, he is going to see a lot of good pitches to hit. Chance for rbi's and runs in this lineup.

I dropped Young for Murphy. I feel with Murphy batting second in the Mets lineup he has more value...plus hes flying under the radar and now is the perfect time to take a chance. I say drop Young.
