It's a 12 team, roto, 6x6 scoring (standard 5x5 with holds and OPS), keeper league in it's first year. I had the 9th pick overall and it was a snake draft.
Chump Change 1. (9) Miguel Cabrera 1B, 3B 2. (16) Evan Longoria 3B 3. (33) Jason Bay OF 4. (40) Vladimir Guerrero OF 5. (57) Troy Tulowitzki SS 6. (64) Josh Beckett SP 7. (81) Joe Nathan RP 8. (88) Joakim Soria RP 9. (105) Yovani Gallardo SP 10. (112) Robinson Canó 2B 11. (129) Josh Johnson SP 12. (136) Erik Bedard SP 13. (153) Brad Hawpe OF 14. (160) Willy Taveras OF 15. (177) Jorge Posada C 16. (184) John Maine SP 17. (201) Billy Wagner RP 18. (208) Shin-Soo Choo OF 19. (225) Jair Jurrjens SP 20. (232) Takashi Saito RP 21. (249) Adam LaRoche 1B 22. (256) Rafael Pérez RP
And before anyone calls me on it, I know Wagner is hurt, didn't realize it until after I took him though. We have 2 Utility spots, 2 SP, 2 RP, 3 P and 1400 innings max.
I'll help you in return, just leave a link.

At first glance I think it looks pretty good. Perhaps not league champion-like, but there is a lot of upside to most if not all of these players.
What I like the most: Your 1st 5 (I'm assuming that this is the order you drafted them in), Hawpe and Taveras (who I think too many people undervalue), and Choo.
What I don't like so much: Nathan, Cano, Posada (but I also picked him)
Undecided: Beckett
I personally believe that pitching, more so than any other position in baseball, has so much turnover in who's good and who's not that it is practically a crap-shoot from year to year. Some people have different opinions on the value of pitchers too, so while I may think that the pitching could be improved, many others would probably say that it is sufficient.
Definitely like the upside with this team. At worst your average, but if your upside comes through (ie. JJ and Gallardo having the seasons they could have), then you finish at or near the top. Love Cabrera as your first keeper and Longoria as your second...two studs that are extremely young yet! At first I thought you took Tulo early but in a keeper this is probably not the case (how many do you keep tho?). Agree with the above comment on Hawpe being a great pick for some power (moving up in the order this year also) but also agree that I don't like Posada as your C. Overall, good balanced team from what I can see with some great young guys for a keeper league. Shouldnt be short on any categories out of the gate so I probably wouldnt look to do any moves right now.
