We only have a 3 man bench and are allowed only 30 (used 3 already) adds all season. What strategies do you have for small benches?

More roster info would be useful to answer this.
In a vaccumn, I would say using those spots for 2 upside pitchers, and a super-util guy. Someone like Mark DeRosa comes to mind.
Many other factors could change this, but I would need to see league settings and rosters to do so.

Agreed. DeRosa, Felipe Lopez, Wigginton are good in this format.
