DL'd players

We will see alot of DL'd players in the next few days. So when ever we are about to pick-up a player off FA or WW, we need to decide if an available DD'd player should be placed in our DL slot. You dump your player and pick-up a DL'd guy. Put him in your DL slot and then pick up your FA player. Also if you are DLing a player, look at the schedule of your replacement. I DL'd Mauer to today and allready had a back-up. So I picked up Francoeur who has 3 games in Philly and then 3 at home against the Nats.

Yeah, I've just been sitting on my hands waiting for Duchsherer and Smoltz to be added to the DL so I can make a couple of pickups. It's been really annoying to watch some of the players I've been targeting get snatched up in the meantime.

I hear you on Smoltz... I thought he'd be DL'd by now and in the meantime I was waiting and missed out on some guys I wanted to snatch up but didn't like them better than what I had...

same. Kelvim Escobar, Smoltz and Duchscherer are all FA's in one of my leagues and i'm chomping at the bit to pick one of them up.
