i like the deal, you get a big up grade at 3B with a lesser downgrade in the OF. You lose out on HRs but you pick up BA, some Stls, RBI

playing devil's advocate -- while you're prob smart to explore some trade options if you're worried about braun's bumps and bruises this spring, i don't think this is enough for him. i fear youk's career year was last year, i think, and god knows what holliday will do in OAK (buster olney said scouts have been marveling at how thin holliday looks this spring...combined with OAK ballpar = power will be way down?). sure he might run a bit (15-20 steals) but braun would give you around that, too. i'd pass unless you're getting a front line P or OF (grady?) in the package.
