Postby joecahill » Thu Apr 02, 2009 1:18 pm

C: V. Martinez, K. Shoppach
1B: P. Fielder *, C. Jackson
2B: D. Pedroia *, F. Lopez
3B: E. Longoria *, M. Reynolds
SS: Al. Ramirez *, J. Lowrie, E. Andrus

hmmm, is hanson available? i don't think you need cahill or fowler this year and with hanson being the better prospect i'd rather have him sitting on my bench. if he's already taken i think i'd take a chance on fowler. your pitching is pretty stacked.

would you mind seeing mine?

Yes, I agree with the previous poster. No problem dumping Guthrie, but I think there are som eother prospects who will get more PT that might be worth looking at over the two you mention. Of those two, I'd probably go Fowler.

Help if you can?

Unfortunately not...Hanson got snagged off the WW two days ago. I like Fowler between the two b/c he's reportedly won the CF job in COL, and his 50th percentile PECOTA forecast calls for 80/10/52/21/.279, which would rock out of a 6th outfielder. Cahill is also my surname, and there aren't many who've pitched in the majors. Might be biased.

i dunno why people are still saying that there are other prospects to get more PT then Cahill, hell hes the #4, i say i would take Cahill over Guthrie but then theres Fowler who is still battling for PT (albeit i think he will get enough PT to make a difference in some leagues)... i think its your call, personally i think you have a deep enough rotation and have the better prospect in Anderson over Cahill so i say go with Fowler... most will disagree but with you already having 3 STUDS and plenty of help on the backend of the rotation you don't really need Cahill... go with Fowler...

btw thanks for the help on mine!

I take Fowler. You have a ton of arms so I don't think you really need Cahill
