How did I do on this trade?

Bench - Jorge Cantu, Hideki Matsui, Troy Glaus, Mike Jacobs

SP - J. Beckett, AJ Burnett, Kazmir, Rich Harden, John Danks
RP - F. Rod, Chad Qualls,Mike Gonzalez, Scott Shields


OK I traded Papi and Rich Harden and got bobby Abreu and Stephen Drew.

I figured had to many redsox on my team and wanted to deal papi for an OF. I think Abreu could have a monster year in LA. It sucks to get rid of Harden, but he is injury prone and I can pick up a Gil Meche, Joe Saunders, Randy Johnson, or even Jered Weaver off the WW.

What do you guys think? How did I do???

Ortiz and Abreu are both in the decline phase of their careers IMO, but Ortiz offers a lot more power and RBI potential in that lineup. You already have tulo, so Drew is a bit redundant. It isn't too bad if you need a bit of a speed boost from Abreu's steals.

you didnt have enough SP's before trading away harden. Now You are really in need of about 2-3 SP's ....don't like the trade...Didn't help you

disagree big time with this... you have a solid staff put together, i think you need ONE more SP tho, i would look to shop Tulo or Drew with a RP to land a big time arm... only other area of concern i have for you is your OF, after Sizemore and a steady Hawpe its a little cloudy, im not a firm believer in Nady and i just don't like Milledge i think hes way over hyped, but i would solidify your staff first...

Sorry, but as much as I'd like to trade Papi while he is worth something good, I think you might have gotten more for him.
