Bad spring, shoulder issue, young pitcher. Not exactly promising. Lost Lackey and now Baker already on a team that was light on pitching to begin with.
I'm worried and getting the feeling that, personally, this is going to be a jinxed year. I'm in an AL only keeper league, protected lists were due a week ago and I protected Lackey (who I knew was hurt but his low price made him a keeper), Devine, and Baker.

quite scary right now. baker should be fine in 2 weeks though. he said he only plans on missing one start
I have Baker in my league and I have been scouring for news. What I have found is "Shoulder Stiffness." The Twins said it is totally precautionary and he and they plan for him to make his scheduled 2nd start.
Baker hasn't done well at all this spring, so I'm thinking giving him a start off might help take some pressure off of him and allow him to find his mechanics. The injury itself isn't bad and this is strictly a precautionary measure. If Baker was doing well this spring, he'd be starting opening night.
