Ian Stewart or Ryan Spilbourghs

Postby Maris09 » Thu Apr 02, 2009 11:08 am

I have Stewart right now and am thinking about switching him out for the recently dropped Spilbourghs.
Either guy would just be a UTIL platoon.

H2H, non keeper

Thanks
Whir

Stand pat until you know if Fowler makes the roster which will cut into Spillbourghs time.

Other OFs who might be available could include Schafer, Dan Murphy or Hermida, all of which I'd rather have than Spillboroughs.

Help me too? viewtopic.php?t=375769

Fowler did make the roster at least according to CBS. Stewart should get plenty of at-bats at a lot of positions, and I like the way his bat looks at 2B in particular. Go with Ian.

stewart over Spily, and yes Fowler is on the roster for sure, i say he gets enough ABs to make him a worth while pick in a deeper league too... but stick with Stewart, the multiple positions is an added bonus...

Much better?

Spilborghs spring: .333, 4 HR, 6 SB
Stewart spring: .291, 2 HR, 2 SB

Not saying I disagree with holding onto Stewart over Spils, but I'm also not sure how worse numbers get him "much better" status.
