Who to Pick Up?

Postby floyd1313 » Thu Apr 02, 2009 10:24 am

12 Team H2H Keeper League. Street is being named closer, so it's time for me to drop Corpas for someone else. Probably leaning towards a back-end starter, but wanna hear other's thoughts. Notable FA's below, my team below that:

hitters: theriot, kaz matsui, greene, hermida, casilla, lewis, andrus, spilborghs, snider, fontenot
pitchers: maholm, weaver, parra, snell, kawakami, porcello, sanchez, perez, volstad

My Team:
C-Ianetta
1B-Miguel Cabrera (3B)
2B-Brandon Phillips
SS-Drew
3B-Chipper Jones
OF-Beltran, Bay, McLouth
UTIL-Milledge
Bench-Nelson Cruz, Felipe Lopez
SP-Lincecum, Oswalt, Volquez, Cain
RP-Frank Francisco, Qualls, Gregg, Street, Corpas

Thanks, whir...

I like Sanchez for a huge ERA improvement along with his K per inning.

I think you have pretty good pitching already, however if you are dead set on picking up a starter I might go for either Weaver or Parra. However if you want a nice hitter give Theriot a try.

all the fantasy experts are big on the idea that this could be the year hermida finally gets it...but they have said that before. Just not sure how much playing time another SS would get on my team, seeing that I already have Lopez as a backup.

Kelvim Escobar also available. Thanks for the thoughts guys, anyone else?

Drop Street and Corpas for Weaver if it's Jered? And get Sanchez.
