Does anyone else think Chris Ray is going to take back the closers spot from George Sherrill? He is available in my league and I am thinking about dropping Phil Hughes to get him...Leave a link...

I would grab him now, before someone else does. Ray will probably share time in the first month or two just to make just is shoulder can handle the load of closing full time for the rest of the season. He has been so much better this spring then sherrill that there is no way he doesnt take the closer role away.

I agree, I picked up Chris Ray myself... he looks pretty good this spring & he's got an arsenal of pitches I believe. Sherrill was shaky at times last year & it's only a matter of time before he loses the job (back to the guy he replaced last year)

Then maybe you could package up Chris Ray when he takes over in mid-April - along with Weiters, and land yourself another solid bat in that lineup - looks great so far, Paps/Cordero doesn't get more solid & Martin's already catching... A-Rod comes back & you've already added another bat, done!

I'm sure there will be another team or two looking for a better catcher & extra arm in the pen, win win as your not giving up anything.
