It's a 12-team keeper league, and I was offered my KRod for his Teixiera. I guess the guy feels like he is ok at the corners, and is in terrible need of saves. For whatever reason, I accepted, but there is now talk of vetoes on the message boards. What do you think? Is it veto-able? I think we can all agree I'm getting the value on the deal, but I'm wondering your thoughts on what should and shouldn't be vetoed. For some background, here are our squads:

yeah, you can't veto this. imo, you only veto in acts of collusion. dumb trades are made and this is one, but as soon as you start vetoing based on that it's a slippery slope.

agreed - vetoing dumb trades sets a dangerous precedent and generally leads to every trade being vetoed later on and everyone starts getting ticked off because no one can get a deal done

I don't believe in trade veto's (collusion excepted), if you wan the deal to go thru, put some meat on your side of the trade - add Beltre to Krod for Tex. He certainly will benefit playing Adrian over Sandoval, and Beltre has no spot on your roster with the addition of Tex, and the move of Davis to 3rd.
^ That's a good idea. If it ends up getting vetoed, I may re-submit it as Beltre + Krod for Tex. I think that takes off some of the sting, indeed.
I'm in agreement with all on the principal of no vetoing. We're trying to get there in our league. There have been several vetoes in the past, and I think people are getting fed up with the excessive vetoing. We'll see what happens. I'm cool with it either way.
Another vote for not vetoing. I don't believe in vetoing unless collusion is involved. And as a previous poster said, and someone of decent value to the trade if it gets vetoed.
Agreed. Awful trade but personally would not veto.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
