A friend of mine wants to trade me his 1 year old ps3 for my 1 year old wii. Then I'd also have to give him $200. We both have about the same amount of games. But would I be better off selling my wii+4 games on eBay and buy a new ps3 or do the trade, btw he'd be giving me about 5 games

Well he's got about$300 in games plus 3 controllers. But yeah your right, how much would you get for a wii and a few games off eBay

yeah you are getting ripped off. It would be fair if you didn't have to give him 200. I just sold a used wii with 12 games and 2 controllers and 2 nunchuks for 350 on ebay. I think maybe you could get 250 ish for your wii on ebay. I haven't looked at prices for ps3's on ebay but they are probably around 300 I'm guessing. I recommend getting a 360 though unless your really want a ps3. I just bought a refurbished xbox 360 for 120 on ebay that included a headset, a wireless controller, and all the cords needed.

Do not go this route. Sell your WII somewhere else.

Also, IMO I do not see why anyone would g with a XBox 360 over a PS3, unless you can't afford the PS3. It is an amazing system with a ton of features. Using HDMI on a huge HDTV seals the deal for the PS3, for me!
