No. 2 pick

No. 2 pick

Postby The Aaron Boones » Wed Mar 10, 2004 6:53 pm

I have a dilemma: I own the No. 2 pick in my draft and am torn between Pujols and Guerrrero. My league uses six off. categories: avg., hr, sb, obp, rbi and runs. Any thoughts?

pujols

I would go with Pujols only because of his two position eligibility. This way later in the draft you can have the option of selecting another good 1B or OF instead of being stuck with needing a 1B. Plus I'd say Pujols is a little better hitter and doesnt have a bad back.

Just a thought should pujols go first before you can get him you may want A-Rod.

Looking at Last year's numbers he was 1st in HR,2nd in RBI
and 1st in Runs. In that potent yeankee lineup he should do as well if not better.

But that is just my opinion for what it's worth.

ARod should go first, If he falls to you take him. Pujols is a clear-cut number 2 to me.

After the top 2, I see a little drop off, to the Vlad, Soriano, Helton, Beltran tier of hitters.

After those 4 comes another drop off.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Stewie : [watching a baseball game] Why does that man drop his club before he runs? I would bring it with me!
