Mazzaro, Gallagher and Simmons are in reserve - more green SPs, but yeah they're still there.
Re: trading for big names
I've always thought Halladay was a chance of being moved to Oakland this year, with J.P and Billy being buddies, and with the A's and Toronto liking the same type of players. Maybe that's a scenario to watch.

Ken Rosenthal thinks there is a good chance of Halladay getting moved this year, but I just don't see it happening this season. He's signed until 2010. He might get moved next year, but this season, even with the Jays going nowhere, he probably won't be traded.

I heard the Cubs were interested in Halladay.
The Cubs have nowhere close to enough ammo to get Halladay.

Sure they do, but I doubt they are willing to move Vitters.
why would they do this exactly? as ive been hearing there is still a very good chance after the ownership deal is all done and finalized they are going to have a good shot at going back after Peavy, so why would you go after the older Halladay, when im sure toronto is gonna want more for him then for Peavy for some unknown reason... id much rather see Peavy in a cubs uni then Halladay, so which is more true?

Halladay has thrown 40 complete games in his career, Peavy has thrown 6. Halladay hasn't had any arm related injuries since 2004, Peavy had elbow problems last year. Aces who don't tax the bullpen and never get hurt are extremely valuable in real life baseball, even if Peavy is a better fantasy ace than Halladay. Age is a factor but their values to their real life teams in a trade shouldn't be that far apart because Halladay's intangibles can balance it out and even put him ahead.
