My first year doing Fantasy Baseball!

This is my first year playing fantasy anything, espicially baseball. I've been doing as much homework as I can and preparing as much as I can. The drafts were 2-3 weeks ago and I would describe the players and league as Intermediate overall. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have two teams here. Both are 10 team mixed leagues with Rotiss scoring. Here they are:

I like both teams. Not bad for your first time. I think both are balanced and all categories are taken care of. The only advice I can give is watch the WW in your league for players that may be upgrades if your guys are struggling. Read this site religiously and you will be fine. Please help me

As with most beginners, you got a little steal happy with Team 1 and ended up having a pretty weak staff.

Team 2 is more balanced but I might have gone with some different options deeper in your staff.

Overall, not bad for your first year. Probably rate them both a 6/10. A few years down the line you'll have a more precise strategy in mind when drafting instead of just trying to get a good player once its your turn to draft. Good job though

Agree with the Matt, your pitching is kinda weak in both leagues although team 2 has a bit stronger staff. I know offense looks sexy but you can't underestimate the importance of pitching. 6 out of 10 seems about right.

Thanks for the comments guy, I totally agree. I did get a little steal happy because that's one thing you hear about a lot when you're just starting; "Don't forget SB's!". I will admit, I neglected pitching a little because I am of the "pitching is deep, no reason to get earlier than 4-6th round" school, so I hope that doesn't hurt. I should have at least got an ace with one of them, no hurt in experimenting. I think my pitchers are real solid though, and I made some good decisions when it got late while others didn't. Seems like no one cares about pitching, which is something I should probably use to my advantage in future drafts and make it a secret weapon.
