No love for Kurt Suzuki?

Postby Padres Fan » Wed Apr 01, 2009 4:58 pm

I think Kurt Suzuki is a interesting sleeper pick, for one last year he hit .279 with 7 hrs, next he had 44 walks and 69 K's in 530 at bats. His back up is Landon Powell, who is a decent fielder but a weak hitter, so Suzuki getting 500+ at bats again would be geat (last year he had 1 1b, and one 1 DH start), I think for the potential of .280 15 hrs and he plays every day he uis a sfer bet than Salty or Teagarden, just plug him in the Catcher slot and worry about the rest or your team.

What does everyone else think?

15 HR seems a little high to me. He's not a bad option but all in all I'd rather roll the dice on Salty.
