he's actually my 3B, as well as my backup C and 1B in a very deep league.

He really does remind me of a young Vlad Guerrero.

In tonight's game, he golfed a pitch that was at most one foot off the ground. He turned it into a triple. It was impressive.

We Giants fans have come to call him "FATichiro" due to the fact htat he swings at everything but makes contact most of the time.

That being said, i have him in three leagues because im a homer and hes C eligible. They were two 14 teamers and one 12 teamer with a very deep bench and i never got him below the 11th round in any of them. But these 3 drafts were done before the first half of March was through so the hype didnt settle in much yet. Anyways, i work for United airlines, so ive taken day trips to PHX and been to on average 2.5 ST games a week this year so i could check out Sandoval and Ishikawa rake the ball. I actually was there for this one particular gameon the 23rd....

"Sandoval's teammates call him "Zorro" because of the precision with which he wields his bat. On Monday, they were in collective awe as he swung at a pitch in the dirt ... and got a hit."

..sure it was an infield single but im getting more and more excited about this guy who was leding ST in hits from a few days ago. Plus he beat out Miggy Cabrera in a Venezuelan Home Run Derby...whats not to like about this guy!?

I got all of ya'll beat. I got him in the, get this, the 16th round of my 14 team league. I was ecstatic to get him there. My draft was on 3/31/09 so I don't think the hype is out yet.

Pablo's MDP on 12/15/08 = 217.55
Current MDP = 191.49

Only a 12% increase.

I'm targeting him in my $$ league draft tomorrow. It's on CBS so he doesn't have C elig. yet. Hoping this brings his price down a bit. I don't mind waiting for 5 GP.

Damn that is siiick! Those other guys probably dont really buy into ST games lol. Since early-mid March hes been leading ST in hits and probably has the best average at .459 with guys over 60 ABs. What a pick.

As a Giants fan, hes the only Gigante I can say that i reached for. I have three leagues, two money, and have him in all as my starting C. The biggest reach was pick 149 in a 12 team, 30 roster league. And i only did that cause thats the yahoo, supposedly competitive, public league.
