TRADE PITCHING FOR BATS???---WHIR

Postby mykedoc77 » Wed Apr 01, 2009 2:03 pm

I drafted some solid pitching, but outside of my OFs, my bats can use an upgrade. Any ideas on who I can move and for who?

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

I like your team, especially your OF. I think the SP is fine, but the IF might need help. I think Tejada could be a problem, but I really like Greene this year. One of those two will give you good SS stats. And Weeks at 2B will probably have to go. If you're going to trade to upgrade, do it here. Maybe buy low on Uggla, or DeRosa (who also has position flexibility).
Bills for Uggla?

Help if you can.

I would look to trade pena or weeks. they're gonna kill your average.

I made a bet in 2003 that the Devil Rays would win the 2008 World Series. Oh so close.

I wouldn't trade for bats just yet. I think you have a good balance with what you have and thats whats important. Wait to see what happens after the first few weeks before making any brash moves. Please help me out

no utility guy? Rough league.:) Not the first lineup i've seen rickie weeks in, but hopefully the last. I just don't see it.. I would look to grab a waiver guy in his place(i'm fairly confident theyre are better guys than him on your waiver sheet.)

I think posada is gonna have a solid season, just watch him incase he goes down again, your backup is ok, but if you can try and get a better one.

Personally, I think tejada is over the hill... I would try to trade him to someone in your league who likes big names... ;-)

Your pitching is good, starts very strong and kinda peters off a bit, but never gets bad... I think you are pretty solid there.
