I personally wouldn't drop CHOO until you know he isn't what he was in the 2nd half 2008 - because if he starts hot and people start to believe he's a .300, 35+HR, 27yr old, 100+ rbi potential kind of player you can trade him for a LOCKDOWN down 1st or 2nd tier starter.
Choo could turn out to be one of the biggest TRADING CHIPS you'll have.

But I'll comment on that list of available SP really quick:
The only one I like is KAWAKAMI.
I think I read it here, not sure, but I agree 100% that he's sure to have an advantage during the 1st half of the season or at least until the rest of the leagues gets the "book" on him.
Even then, I think he's got enough pitches to stay very effective and get some Ws and Ks for you.

I like Escobar (in addition to Kawakami), but I agree, stand pat on Choo. I don't think he'll be anywhere close to .300/35/100/100, but if he starts out hot, he's more valuable in a trade.

Agree with others and wait to see about Soo Cho. If you eventually do make this move, and have an available DL spot on your roster, pick up Hudson or Bonderman first, put him on DL and then pick up Escobar or Hanson.

Help me too? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=375557&p=3010308#p3010308
