Wieters just got dropped. Should I pick him up and use Martin as trade bait 2 months from now? Also, who should I drop to stash him for the time being?
C: Martin 1B: M. Cabrera, Votto 2B: Utley 3B: Chipper, Zimmerman SS: K. Greene OF: Crawford, Granderson, Abreu, J. Upton, Maybin SP: Felix, Lester, Vazquez, Garza, Jurgens RP: Wilson, Francisco, Ziegler, Gregg
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I probably wouldn't tie up the bench spot but if you want to and think you can get good value out Martin in six weeks or so, then I guess I would drop Maybin or Ziegler.

There's no one to drop unless you want to cut one of your closers. The best case for you would be to swing a 2 for 1 deal to open up a bench spot, then pick up Wieters.
Drop Ziegler immediately and pick up Wieters. He will be Longoriaesque by the end of the season. I also think the Baltimore will struggle with Zaun catching so Wieters might be up a little earlier than expected!
I would try to swing a 2 for 1 deal immediately, and grab wieters, but if thats not possible i would drop ziegler for him. I mean hes the best hitting prospect right now and hes a Catcher. I think martin will remain atop the catchers leaderboards for a while, so moving him after wieters gets called up would be a great idea
