Ok, I am in a yahoo league it's head to head, and can make daily roster changes. We auto drafted, I set my pre-rankings to the ESPN player rater and this is what I got. My biggest concern is that every other team has 2 extra pitcher than I do. Am I going to be out gunned in the pitching department?

Also, I got Trevor Hoffman. What's the story with him? How should I handle this situation?

I seem to have a lot of 3B's in Pujols, Glaus, Boone, Hinske, Bellhorn, and Alfonzo. Should I trade one or 2 of Hinske, alfonzo, or bellhorn to try and get pitching? I am with a lot of Giants fans, so I think Alfonzo might be worth a bit more..

Thanks for your help!

Ok, lets see. You definately need pitching! That's for sure. You can forget Hoffmann this year. He just had surgery, so he'll be out for a while. You should get a new closer. Starting pitching looks ok so far. You may want to trade away Josh Phelps and Mark Bellhorn for a decent closer of some sort. (If you're lucky you can somebody like Urbina or jimenez or something similar. just take a look around) Otherwise I'd say your offense is rocksolid and you're good to go if you get some mor pitching in that nice lineup of yours. Good luck!

If I can pick up Scott Williamson, Alan Embree, Looper, or Villafuerte off waivers, would that be good, or should I trade for a better closer?

IF you can get one of those off your waive wire.... I wouldn't get Looper, cause as far as I know, Nunez is the closer in FLA, Embree will be sharing the job with somebody else, Williamson should be ok. BTW Josh Phelps is a pretty good hitter but probably only available as a DH, so you might wanna find somebody else. Try to trade him and you might get something decent in return. Don't trade him away for peanuts...

It's very smart of you to pick up on a possible weakness for Giants in your league. I speak from experience - I can't resist a Red at a good price.

I def. agree with Super, Williamson sounds like your best option of whose available on waivers for closers. If you have all those 3B, most of them pretty good, I'm sure you could work out a deal with someone who has extra RP's.

Anyone think IRod will be anything special this year in FL? He's on my team, too, and for some reason I'm nervous about his offensive numbers in Pro Players Stadium.
Did you know there are no such things as "white" or "black" people?
