Gordon beckham - Sometime this year for a spell, full time in 2010 Yonder Alonso - 2010 - after the all star break Lars anderson - Could be this year, depends on if Lowell is healthy and whether Youk needs to play 3rd, likely 2010 Eric Hosmer - 2010 - after the all star break Logan Morrison - 2011

These estimates seems good to me, though I didn't even think Alonso would be in the bigs that soon. The only guy on this list that I can see getting any serious playing time soon is Beckham.

Pretty good except for Hosmer and Morrison. Morrison will be in AA, not sure how he will be in the minors for 2 more years when he has no one really ahead of him. Same for Hosmer, who hasn't even seen any minor league ball and is out of H.S. ... a bit to optimistic.
When I was drafting, I thought Beckham and Anderson would be sometime this year. Morrison most probably next year, hopefully along with Alonso. Hosmer was more of a long term deal, but he could be the best of the bunch...

Saw some video of Hosmer the other day and he has a lot of growth to do before he's ready to play 1B in the majors. He looks really skinny...kinda like a guy right out of high school. Big frame but not a lot of meat on the bones to produce the power needed.

Fully agree. I saw a video of him right when he was drafted and I was like...ummm, ok. But yeah, he's still probably got 3 years before he's up unless something really changes.
