Cain b/c of strikeouts in points based league. You can't predict wins, but its obvious that Cain is a better "bat misser" than Pelfrey.

easy for me... cain. he's the #2 guy, only behind lincecum. pelfrey is the #4 guy, and he's a little banged up right now... nothing really serious though.

Another vote for Cain... I think he'll have an excellent year.

I agree that Cain is the correct choice, but isn't Big Pelf the Mets #2 starter while Cain is the #3 for SF behind Lince and TBU? At least that's what I've seen in MLB depth charts.

ballpark frank you are right. Cain is SF #3 (Linc, RJ, Cain, Zitto, Sanchez) and Pelfrey is the Mets #2 (Johan, Pelfrey, Perez, Maine, L Hernandez). But in H2H points based league Cain is predicted to be ahead of Pelfrey.

Yea Pelfrey is #2 but that has as much to do with splitting the lefties as it does with how Pelfrey has looked this spring. Cain for sure.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
