They all have a spot. I have a man-crush on Anderson. I'm usually VERY cautious with young arms but I just think this guy is going to be gangbusters this year. He has the tools and his head is screwed on right - his attitude is mature and I think he'll strive in the limelight. Comments?
if you have insight on anderson and feel confident in him, then go with your guy. that's what i do. i just check the a's depth chart. anderson is listed as #5 starter and cahill #6. they won't see as much action as jurrjens at those positions, but they could move up if they prove to be as good as people think.
I actually like Anderson as well. I'm waiting to see how long it takes before Yahoo has him listed, hoping I can get him off the FA wire (don't want to spend my #4 waiver unless I have to).
thanks for your insight on mine. i just added a few more pitchers to my list. if you don't mind, can you lend some more insight? anderson is available in my league too.
To me, it is Jurrjens and it is not even close. The other guys are fifth and sixth starters, while Jurrjens (I believe) is the third starter. Not to mention that Jurrjens already has a year under his belt as a major league starter, where he was fairly impressive. That's why I'd take him....

My first reaction was this too but he has trouble with walks and they have in fact moved him up to the number two spot in the rotation and I'm a bit skeptical of him going against the leagues #2 pitchers where Anderson faces the crappy end-of-rotation arms.
