Which pitcher has the most upside?? WHIR!

The question was who has the most upside...The four with the most upside are Hanson, Volstad, Parra, and Scherzer. If you were asking me who to take this year, I'd say Scherzer and Volstad and Meche are the three best options. I think all three will have solid years. Hanson could have a great year, but I tend to think that he will have his ups and downs....

Max for sure is #1 for me....Gallaraga isnt far behind....He just doesnt make many mistakes and should get plenty of wins..


As far as Hanson or Zimmerman....If you have room for either....I would grab both of em. I love em both...Dont expect much this year, but if your in a keeper you will be one step ahead.

Most upside to me is Jimenez. An absolute SO machine. Scherzer pitches for the better team, but I like Ubaldo's stuff better.

I like Scherzer too from that list. As long as he can stay healthy he should have a very nice season.

Mad Max, but he will be on an inning count all year. So don't be surprised if he is shut down in early sept.

does this hurt scherzer b/c of IP and SHO, since he'll likely be on an inning count?

scherzer was dropped; that's why he's available. maybe that's why he was dropped.

Max will most likely have an innings cap, which would make my default choice to meche. They both have good K counts, with max probably being the better one in terms of K. but his innings pitch is question mark. Maybe this season they'll run him out a little longer. lets just hope he doesn't get fatigued at the end of the season. Take a chance on max. if not then meche is ur man.
