Postby sigriffey » Tue Mar 31, 2009 6:57 pm

I really think making a play for Liriano would make my staff pretty formidable. It is great as is, but there is a gap between Billingsley and Lilly...

The owner of Liriano is reluctant to move him BUT he has a thing for Torii Hunter.

DO one of these?

A: I give him Hunter and Lilly, I get Liriano and Maybin
B: I give him Hunter and Myers, I get Liriano and Taveras
C: Some combination wherein...

i'd definitelt do hunter and motte for liriano and tavares, but i dont think he would....Give it a shot, can't hurt...But I think you'll have to give up more for liriano in a keeper.

Hunter and Lilly, I have maybin on my team so I may be a little biased. I also think willy taveras is a one category POS.

I would pull the trigger. Liriano is long strides ahead of Myers. I consider Liriano a boderline ace and Myers borderline WW material. Maybin has more than enough upside to make this a good deal for you, as Hunter is on the back end of his career. Good luck!
