Pick One of Four

Postby floyd1313 » Tue Mar 31, 2009 3:40 pm

Gonna make a move before the season starts...been mulling it over for a week now and want to get one done now. I have three trade ideas (first one has been proposed to me):

Trade 1:
I give Bay and get Fielder

Trade 2:
I give McLouth and get Liriano

Trade 3:
I give Bay and get Haren

What do you think is best for my squad?

My Team:
C-Ianetta
1B-Miguel Cabrera (3B)
2B-Brandon Phillips
SS-Drew
3B-Chipper Jones
OF-Beltran, Bay, McLouth
UTIL-Milledge
Bench-Nelson Cruz, Felipe Lopez
SP-Lincecum, Oswalt, Volquez, Cain
RP-Frank Francisco, Qualls, Gregg, Street, Corpas (handcuffing)

i like either one or two. fielder is the better player, so i like that on value alone. #2 i see a slight regression from mclouth and he's not that great in AVG anyway - i also like liriano a lot this year. i think the difference between mclouth and bay is greater than the difference between liriano and haren.

i guess your reasoning for wanting fielder is to use him as UTIL, which would be a great spot. or so you can move cabrera to 3B when chipper gets hurt.

i like bay in your OF; i would do option 2 to get liriano for mclouth. you have solid pitching right now. it would be really solid with liriano.

I reallyl ike #2 to be honest with you. If any I'd make that deal, I like Liriano better than Haren.

I like #3. Haren is better, more proven.
