PITCHING TRADE HELP!

Postby obiwanacookie » Tue Mar 31, 2009 2:18 pm

hey guys, i need pitching help. With Lackey down, the rest of my pitching is unproven or shaky. Who can i give up to get back a good pitcher, lets say Roy Halladay or someone of his caliber? Thanks, this is my first time posting here.

Well if you are looking for Halladay type starter it is going to cost you.

If a manager with Hallady/Peavy/Haren/Oswalt is desperate for a C you might be able to offer Martin because you have Doumit. If it was me I would set my sights lower because you are going to end up over paying for an ace because managers hate to let an ace go.

As a Halladay owner myself, it would take Markakis or Ortiz to be enough to trade Halladay away.

I wouldn't panic about your pitching even if Lackey's status is iffy for all of April. You have some decent arms in your rotation and you still have Gallardo as ace material.
