I love Marmol, and think he'll be getting that job sooner rather than later, and then he'll keep it... But, who would you drop? Escobar? That'd be my pick.

I see you have Motte - can you help me out with my question?

you know this is really borderline... the obvious drop to make would be elvis andrus, because barring injury to j-rollins odds are that he isn't going to light up the world being a 19-20 year old rookie at SS to put a good solid util/flex-type player to shame.

marmol will put up hellafied numbers, a good ERA excruciatingly low WHIP and i believe some of if not teh best K numbers for a reliever, barring his arm falling off of course, but still you can't count on saves.

so if you wanna do it and have yourself a nice luxury item, do that, otherwise dont do it thinking he's going to be a saviour in the saves dept, cuz trust me, lou loves his marmol blankie, henceforth why marmol was a bit pissed that they claimed there was a competition for the closers job when there wasnt, he wants to be able to drop marmol wherever the hell he wants to stop opponents' rallies dead in their tracks.

I would not use the #1 priority for him. I doubt he clears waivers but giving up the #1 is a lot for him at this time imo.
